Arizona Swim Arizona Bike Arizona Run

SWIM (2.4 Miles):

The single-loop swim begins with a deep-water start in man-made Tempe Town Lake.

The rectangular course will go just past Rural Road Bridge, turning north and then west all the way back under the Mill Ave. Bridges.

Another turn south will lead the athlete to shore and transition at Tempe Beach Park.

Wetsuits will be allowed, as water temperatures will range from the low- to mid-60s.

BIKE (112 Miles):

The relatively flat three-loop course heads out of Tempe and zig-zags out to the Beeline Highway, which gradually climbs approximately 10 miles through the Sonoran Desert to the turnaround just before Shea Boulevard.

As the course stretches out into the desert, the beautiful McDowell Mountains provide the scenery and spectators are replaced with red rock formations and cacti.

Athletes return to Tempe Beach Park to start their second and third laps.

RUN (26.2 Miles):

The three-loop run course is primarily flat with a few small rolling hills.

The course winds its way around Tempe Town Lake and through beautiful, spectator-filled Papago Park.

Athletes will cross numerous bridges, many with inclines from lake level to bridge deck.
